Bailee's Birthday

Arrrr Mateys! Bailee is into a lot of things right now but especially all things pirate! Her birthday party was pirate and mermaid themed, since there were going to be boys and girls there and because Ariel is her other obsession. Her birthday day started off with breakfast (early!) with Papa and Nana at Pappy's Coffee Shop. They are always really fast with their food and the prices for the secret weekday menu are really cheap, probably cheaper than what we could make the same food at home for.

After our delicious breakfast, Bailee got to open some presents from the grandparents - all Ariels and Ariel themed. She loved everything! She's so excited by presents right now, great for me because she'll open all of them and I don't have to do it. But she always wants more!

Later that morning we met the cousins and Aunt Brandy and "Maris" (Damaris, Todd's girlfriend) at the movies to watch Finding Nemo in 3D. They had special kid sized 3D glasses and the kids were all super excited to see the movie. Bailee got extra lucky because they had a short Toy Story cartoon before the movie, her other favorite.

Then it was time for naps and resting up for the party on Saturday. She spent the rest of the day at home relaxing and playing with all her new toys! She loved her tea set from Aunt Mary Ann but we had to keep it up high away from baby brudder.

Saturday was HOT and after hours making candies and pirate dipped marshmallows, everyone was ready to sit back and celebrate. We had the party at a local park and the kids had lots of fun playing on the toys while the adults snacked and talked under the shade. Bailee got more presents, ate an Ariel cake, and played with her friends.

32 Weeks

Man, time flies when you're pregnant and are chasing after an-almost two-year-old. I am so bad about blogging, I need to get better and quick.

32 weeks I've gained 13 pounds - still lighter than I started my last pregnancy, so I'm doing pretty good I think. At my dr. appt today he saw that our baby boy (yes, it's a boy! Another post I should've written) has moved from lying sideways to lying on his back facing the world, butt down. I actually felt him turn a few days ago but I wasn't sure if he was head up or head down. So basically he is sitting on my bladder. He's actually pretty nice to me compared to Bailee, she used to just hang out with a foot in my ribs constantly.

I'm looking forward to my baby shower in a week, but at the same time I'm not. We're only having two kids so it's the last shower of any kind I'll ever have. Pretty much how I feel about this pregnancy too, last time it was exciting because everything was the first time for everything, first kicks, first Baby Sightings, first pregnant belly, now everything is the last everything. Even though this pregnancy has been kind of a pain in the butt with everything hurting more and earlier, I'm going to miss a lot of the fun parts about it. I like feeling him kick (when he's not hurting me!) and my belly is finally to the point where I feel like I'm cute pregnant, not giant, and not just chubby looking.

Oh, I got pictures taken this time too and I'm happy with the way they turned out. :)
